Humans are creative beings by nature.
Whether it’s our most distant ancestor banging rocks together, musicians banging notes together, artists banging colors and textures together, scientists banging atoms and molecules together, or thinkers banging ideas together, we can’t help it. We are born to create, to innovate, to bang things together to see what happens.
One of the things that we have created is the mystique that surrounds the perfectly normal act of creating. We speak of muses, creative sparks, creative juices, and inspiration as if they’re mysterious things, somehow separate from us, that come upon us out of a clear blue sky.
One post at a time, Intentional Innovation is my attempt to take the mystery out of creativity and innovation.
Stick around. It’s going to be fun.
